It has been a dream of mine to bring people closer to the incredible experience of Land art by bringing awareness to their individual ways of seeing and responding to the environment.The walk is moderate and affords deep meditation into the ecology of place. We will stop along the way at appropriate spots to engage in discussion, reflection, and the practical exploration of creative expression in nature. Natures Valley to Keurbooms Beach.

To create land art in pristine wilderness is the optimal time and space to carefully leave a trace for the land, animals and people.”
Conservation adventurer Galeo Saintz and I have come together to create a walking experience that allows visitors to the 2013 Site_Specific event to partake in an adventure exploring land art as an expression of ecological processes, by walking over two days along the pristine and varied coast from Nature's Valley to Keurbooms. Documented by a professional photographer, the walk is designed to fit into the programme in such a way that participants are able to gain both knowledge and experience and share their insights and works, while enjoying a night under the stars on the beach. Participants will have access to high res images of their work available for download thereafter.
