The Journey

My Photo
Simon Max Bannister
Kruger Park, Mpumulanga, South Africa
A journey to make the art of life. A collection of my stories around Southern Africa, current projects, past works, creative local people and random far-out places. I have found my center of gravity in the Lowveld Bush, there I have my studio beside the wilderness. It is quiet here, and I work well. I travel frequently around Southern Africa to chase ideas, create and gather inspiration and materials. Land Art is working with nature and its beauty, reflecting this nourishment for earth, air, fire, water and even plastic. It is truly great to be working with the reserve and pushing the horizons of ecological re -transformation onward.
